Head of HUMAN RESOURCE

The Human Resource Department coordinates all human resources programmes; and organize staff trainings within the Assembly.

The department ensures the effective and efficient administration of human resources; translate institutional policies in respect of employment, personnel, wages and salaries into good management practices. The department also updates the records of staff on regular basis as well as ensuring  inter and intra departmental collaboration to facilitate staff performance and development.

The Human Resource Department reports on all human resource related activities and put in measures to upgrade the capabilities, skills and knowledge of staffs in the Assembly. The department also performs other roles such as seeing to the general welfare of Staffs and Appraising direct reports

                              DUTIES

  1. Ensure the regular updates of staff records
  2. Support effective salary administration (Validation ESPV of government staff of payroll and administration of non-mechanised staff salaries.
  3. Ensure the development of capabilities, skills and knowledge of staff (Training and Development)
  4. Ensure Human Resource Planning, Facilitate recruitment of competent personnel and maintenance of good work place interaction.
  5. Support Human Resource Planning and Recruitment process
  6. Support the review of Human Resource Policies 
  7. Prepare monthly, quarterly and Annual reports
  8. Ensures inter and intra departmental collaboration to facilitate staff performance and development.
  9. Ensures the general welfare of staff 
  10. Draft job description and co-ordinate staff performance management system (Staff Appraisal)
